I was on a school trip; at that time I was studying Mandarin Chinese in Shanghai, and I was there strolling along the canals, just like Venice but with Chinese architectural style. At that moment I understood that the East and the Mediterranean are not opposites; they are complementary. Like yin and yang, like the moon and the sun.

The Wisdom of Water

In Eastern philosophy, water is the most powerful element because it adapts to everything without losing its essence. In the Mediterranean, water is life, it is connection.
