The River That Changed My Way of Creating

Let me tell you something: it all started in Guilin, China. It was my first trip to the land of the dragon, and nothing had prepared me for what I would feel upon seeing the Huangse River. It wasn't just flowing water; it was liquid poetry, pure movement, life dancing.

I was mesmerized for hours watching it move. Those abstract shapes, that infinite fluidity... In that moment I knew I had to capture that magic on fabric. That's how our Huangse Shirt was born, the first garment that carried a piece of the journey in every fiber.

The Temples That Whisper Secrets

Months later, in Bangkok, gazing at Wat Pho from the Chao Phraya River, I felt that magical connection again. The golden light of the sunset transformed every detail of the temple into pure sacred poetry.

That night, in my hotel, I drew the first sketches of what would become the Thai Shirt . Because there are places you can't photograph; you can only feel them and then, if you're lucky, weave them.

When Provence Embraces Catalonia

But not all inspiring journeys are far from home. One summer, driving through Provence, France, I stopped in an endless field of lavender. The contrast between the deep lilac and the ochre earth reminded me of sunsets in my native Catalonia.

That's when I understood something fundamental: journeys aren't measured in kilometers, they're measured in emotions. And that emotion of seeing Provence embracing the Mediterranean became our Lavender Earth Shirt .

Every garment from Aysa Atelier is born from such a moment. I don't design clothes; I weave memories. I don't create garments; I capture moments that deserve to be eternal.

The process is always the same, although each time it is unique:

First, the moment: That instant where something inside me says 'this is special'.

Then, contemplation: I stay there, absorbing every detail, every emotion, every nuance.

Then, the translation: How do I turn this emotion into texture? This color into feeling? This movement into the drape of fabric?

Finally, the creation: In my studio in La Bisbal d'Empordà, with my hands and my heart, I give life to that memory.
